How do I clean and maintain my ICEMULE Cooler?
Proper maintenance of your ICEMULE is key to ensuring optimal performance. If you've only stored ice inside (i.e. no food or spilled beer or soda), simply pour the ice out, wipe it down with a towel, and hang the ICEMULE upside down to dry.
Follow these steps on how to clean your ICEMULE:
*Please be sure to properly close your AirValve when cleaning. We do
not recommend turning the cooler inside out for cleaning or any other
reason.*
Start by removing any debris by sprinkling a bit of baking soda onto a clean towel and rubbing that onto the surface of your ICEMULE.
Next, mix one-part vinegar with two parts water and a couple of tablespoons of Murphy's Oil Soap, soak a clean towel in the solution, and wipe the mixture all over the surface before rinsing clean with a wet towel.
If you have any spots to remove on your ICEMULE, you can make a paste with baking soda, which is known for brightening surfaces and lifting stains.
To make a baking soda paste, simply mix three parts baking soda with one part water and add five to ten drops of dish soap to the paste mixture. Apply a bit of paste to the stain and use a clean cloth to scrub the area. After the stain has been
lifted, wipe any remaining residue off of your ICEMULE with a towel and warm water.

I saw someone carrying an Icemule at the pool when we were on vacation. I looked them up later and ordered one. By chance, my sister came across them and ordered me one also, not long after, because she thought I would like it. She was right! This thing is perfect for so many activities. I use it all the time to throw a few beers/drinks in to go to friends' houses. It is perfect to take out on my fishing kayak. When we're camping, we can toss some ice and things for the day in one and leave the main cooler at camp if we go swim or something. They are just very convenient and I get a lot of use out of ours. Also, I had one occasion to contact customer service and they were great. By the way, I kept both identical coolers and use them both.

I purchased the Mini for a scenic train journey after learning that ice is a commodity on the Amtrak. I mainly used it for ice because drinks were included with our reservation. It lasted nearly three days in our room, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Now, I am a fan of Icemule and look forward to buying more!

I recently purchased a 20L Icemule. Used it for a quick hunt in hot West Texas. Kept the beverages cold, was easy to lug around, and took some minor abuse very well. I highly recommend this.
What was really nice about this cooler, for the way I used it. Everyone in my group drove out to location whereas I was flying in, getting a rental truck. This allowed me to take it along as a carryon, while empty, strapped to my pack.
Note: works as described. Held the ice for a good 24 hours. Tried to keep out of direct sunlight as much as possible.
